March 2007 PSAHow was it that St. Patrick, a Scot, became so beloved in Ireland? His secret was simple: He related the concept of the trinity to the Irish three-leaf clover and his message was better understood. The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress, a not-for-profit organization, suggests we learn from St. Patrick and as we sit down to celebrate his day. Keep the three-leaf clover in mind —eat a little less, move a little more and laugh until it almost hurts! Remember that a feast of corned beef and cabbage is heavy in sodium and fat. Keep the portions small while you keep your spirits high! A happy, healthy St. Patrick’s Day to you from the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress.
