Chiropractic Association membership Votes to Support the F4CP at its Annual Fall
Membership Meeting
"Providers can no longer depend upon "word of mouth" to educate
the public. As a profession, we must inform the public of the benefits of chiropractic
and the natural health options we have to offer. The majority of the general public
understands that the medications and surgery is not the lifestyle they seek and
they are resisting these interventions but don't know where to turn. Chiropractic
care is missing in their lives due to either a mis-understanding or complete lack
of knowledge of the chiropractic profession. We are presently amidst a consumer
revolution where the patients will drive the health care markets as individual
choice returns. Chiropractic must be positioned in the public image, not as a
last resort but, as the first option in making their health care decision. The
Foundation for Chiropractic Progess is the only national program that succeeds
to promote the profession in a positive public image and is directed towards the
potential chiropractic patient. The Connecticut Chiropractic Association has endorsed
the work of the foundation as it compliments our efforts to educate the pbulic
and unites the goals of chiropractors throughout the country to promote health
through chiropractic."
